In current weeks, YouTube has been evaluated a restructured the video screen, and Material You tweaks now arrive to the homepage. The video site is clearly performing a huge overhaul of its clients for all platforms.
Over the past day, this redesign has been concisely presented for two users on desktop and mobile web. Begun through the latter platform, we have the conveyer of disparate topics move to rectangles via rounded corners in the position of pills, while “Explore” now comes at the very left. This is similar to mobile as the mid tab on the bottom bar is now for “Shorts.”
Even so, thumbnails now feature rounded corners on the homepage, such as on the search and video pages. We again view the pill-shaped buttons for thumbs up/down, Share, Save, and Report.
There is more alteration on the desktop web homepage. Most remarkable, there’s a correct/AMOLED black dark theme available in a state of gray. There’s a pill-shaped search field, while the topics conveyor has also been upgraded.
It arrives as YouTube Music for Android is also moving to this structure, through the streaming service previously utilizes a black background. In inclusion, some carousels, like for Shorts, are housed in individual boxes via faint gray outlines.
YouTube’s homepage redesign is still under evaluation and has not been broadly rolled out now. It’s not a resolution for the person that has come up with it.
YouTube has historically kept up its structure language rather than other Google apps. These current tweaks to buttons, the search field, and other UI elements follow the current Material You regulations in a sign that YouTube might shut down the visual gaps.
YouTube is appropriately and actually working to give the latest glance to it, and it will assumably be declared sooner than later if more persons are previously looking the redesign.
