Samsung Quick Measure is a feature that combines AR intelligence with the 3D Depth Camera. It basically gives you near-instant measurements of an object you have in the frame.
Samsung’s Quick Measure comes pre-installed on the eligible device. All you need to do is open the app and focus on an object in your camera. You’ll get real-time measurements that sit atop the object and tell you roughly its height, width, and even volume.
Devices equipped with DepthVision Camera provide the following functions
– Distance Measurement: Measure the distance between the camera and the aiming point.
– Area Measurement: Measure the length, width, and area of the square-shaped plane when the rectangular. shape has been aimed, and measures the radius and area of the circular plane when the circular shape has been aimed.
– 3D Measurement: Measure the longest axis of each length, width, and height of 3D object
– Length Measurement: Measure the length between two manually specified points.
– Human Height Measurement: Measure the height of a human from the foot to the head of the upper body.
