Samsung’s May 2022 security patch update is now live for the Indian units of the Galaxy Tab A 8.0. The new software update for the Galaxy Tab A8 comes with firmware version X205XXU1AVG1.
It includes the May 2022 security patch, which according to Samsung’s documentation, fixes more than 30 privacy and security-related vulnerabilities. The new update could also include general bug fixes and device stability improvements.
If you have the Galaxy Tab A8 and live in India, you might have already received a notification of the new update. If you haven’t received it yet, you can check for it manually by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install.
To recall, Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 was launched with a 10.5 inches TFT screen flaunting a pixel density of 216ppi along with 1200 x 1920 pixels screen resolution. At the rear side, Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 2021 is equipped with an 8MP Primary Camera. Autofocus, Digital Zoom and Auto Flash are some of the main features available within.
