Google Play Store shows a new change in the review and rating department. According to the report by Esper.io’s Mishaal Rahman, the Google Play Store review and rating will depend on the device based. This information was also claimed by the officials to developers on the Play Store console. The initial discussion was started in August 2021 and after a year the changes are ready to appear.

If you check any application on the Google Play Store, you will see a message in the “Ratings and Reviews” section confirming that these scores are “from people who use the same type of device as you use.” As Rahman pointed out that foldable devices are still categorized by Google as tablet devices.
