Samsung Galaxy S20+ began receving the August 2022 patch in the US. T-Mobile has started rolling out the September 2022 security update for the carrier-locked device.
The August 2022 SMR (Security Maintenance Release) for the Samsung Galaxy S20+ is rolling out with the firmware version G986USQU3FVH1 and the update size is 681MB.
If you are an owner of the Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus in the US with a carrier-locked version, you can now download and install the new update on your device by navigating to Settings -> Software update ->Download and install.
Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy S21 series and Galaxy S22 series are now testing One UI 5 beta and it brings several new changes. The third One UI 5 beta 3 will be available soon and the animation issues are expected to be fixed soon.
