Galaxy A53 September 2022 update is now live in the US

Samsung Galaxy A53 has been upgraded with the August 2022 security patch in several countries including Canada and Asia. Now, according to the information, the Samsung Galaxy A53 phone users in the US are now getting the September 2022 security patch update.

The update is rolling out to both carrier-locked and unlocked versions of Galaxy A53. The latest update comes with firmware version A536USQU3AVH1 and it’s available on all carrier networks in the US, including AT&T, Bluegrass Cellular, Comcast, Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon, and Xfinity Mobile.

The September 2022 security patch fixes over two dozen privacy and security vulnerabilities. In order to install the latest firmware update on your device, you can install the new update by heading to Settings » Software update and tapping Download and install.

Samsung has already promised to send 4 years of Android OS upgrades, and five years of security updates. Comes with Android 12 the Galaxy A53 5G will be updated till Android 16.
