The September 2022 Samsung security patch is widely rolling out for select devices. The Galaxy S21 Series, Galaxy A52s, and Galaxy Note 20 Series have already joined the current patch race. Now, it’s time for the Galaxy S22 Series which is currently a part of the One UI 5 beta testing.
The European units of the Galaxy S22 Series are now able to install the latest September 2022 security patch software update with the fresh build number S908BXXU2AVI3 (Galaxy S22 Ultra) and the update comes with 224 MB of download size.
Alongside the new patch, Samsung also updated its stock applications including PENUP, Galaxy Wearable, Samsung Health, Samsung Members, SmartThings, Samsung Wallet, Smart Switch, and Calculator.
The September 2022 security update fixes over 20 vulnerabilities. In order to update your Galaxy S22 Series to the latest version, you can now download the update by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping Download and install.
