As we discuss a lot about Galaxy S23 Ultra in our previous article but this article is made to juxtaposition with the newly launch iPhone 14 Pro Max. Through this, we simply intended to give both Samsung and iPhone users a cursory idea of both devices.
Therefore, to make it more specific we are moving further on the basis of features. That we came to know in the recently launched iPhone 14 Pro Max. So let’s dive in, on the basis of the features of each and move accordingly.

So, with a mighty 200MP ISOCELL sensor, Samsung is far leading when it comes to the camera segment. Whereas they also have a Periscope lens which iPhone 14 don’t have in their phone. Although, instead of low pixels Apple still balance the overall equation by providing decent picture quality in its devices.
The Apple iphone 14 Pro Max has 6.7 inches, colour OLED (1B) screen with 1290 x 2796 pixels resolution and 120 Hz of refresh rate. It gives 1600nits (typical) whereas 2000 nits peak brightness. Galaxy S23 Ultra feature to have 6.81 inches Color Dynamic AMOLED 2X (1B) screen with 1080 x 2460 pixels resolution and 120 Hz of refresh rate.
Although S23 Ultra brightness nits are not confirmed yet but considering the Galaxy S22 Ultra’s display can hit a peak brightness of 1,750 nits. While the iPhone 14 Pro can go as high as 2,000 nits. And that’s effortlessly making it the best brightest display that is available on the market at this point.
It is also worth mentioning here even though Samsung Display is responsible for providing the OLED displays that go into Apple iPhone 14 series. Therefore, it’s interesting to see what Samsung could bring for its Galaxy S23 flagship. Would be it better or the same display, for that we all have to wait for a little for the next of its update.
Dynamic island notch
Concurrently, the iPhone 14 Pro sports a new ‘dynamic island’ notch, which will change based on the activity. It continuously seems to vary on the basis of the action that you’re doing or the app you might have open. For example, when the music app is open, the notch will display a different kind of animation. Precisely, this is one of the great features that ever come in any of mobile. On the other hand, at present, there’s no info all around S23 to have a feature like this. And we hope that Samsung also look upon such Apple’s innovations which definitely attract many buyers.
Memory & Storage
The iPhone 14 Pro Max has 6GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage whereas there’s no card slot option. In contrast, Galaxy S23 is going to pack 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. However, this is the start option as their siblings have 512 GB and go up to even 1 TB presently. So certainly this also mandates having storage which is far leading its rivals.
The iPhone 14 Pro Max is packed with 3200 mAh of battery while Galaxy S23 is going to be equipped with a powerful 5000 mAh battery as S22 Ultra presently carries the same. In this way, this would be the large gap where Samsung effortlessly leading.
