Google foldable phone look alike Samsung Galaxy Fold?

Google seems to be working on a new foldable phone and the patent of the relative device looks similar to the Samsung Galaxy Fold.

The patent was published at WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organization) back in June 2021 and as per the latest report from 91mobiles, the patent is now published. Google’s new foldable phone may launch later this year.

The company hasn’t mentioned any details about the phone yet but we expect to see the new Google foldable phone at the Pixel 7 series launch later this fall.

As per the patent image, the Google foldable phone folds in half like a notebook, but the bezels around the screen look pretty thick. Google foldable phone to have a selfie camera which is placed on the upper bezel.

The official patent description stated, “A camera with an aperture is located in the bezel of the second component that meets the flexible continuous display”.

Google Pixel foldable expected specifications – Pixel Notepad

As per the latest rumors, the Google Pixel Notepad is expected to arrive with a 5.8-inch outer display, which is wider and shorter than the Galaxy Z Fold 4. Under the hood, the new Google Pixel foldable phone will be powered by a Tensor chip.

As far as the camera specifications are concerned, it will consist of a 12.2MP Sony IMX363 primary camera, a 12MP IMX386 ultra-wide-angle lens (like the Pixel 5 last), and two 8MP IMX355s for selfies. The camera details was previously revealed by the Google Camera app.

Google recently released the Android 13 for Pixel devices, the upcoming Pixel Fold to showcase the tablet-focused Android 12L.
