In August 2018, Samsung made a remarkable announcement to do a partnership with Spotify. The partnership was claimed for a long time business. The deal was finalized for all Samsung devices (Phones, TV, Speakers, and Wearables).
In the past three and a half years, these two top companies expanded their partnership on the setup experience on the Samsung Galaxy devices. Somehow to recall, since the agreement was made publically, Bixby started showing Spotify as a default application.
Now, according to the fresh information, both firms have now decided to expand their partnership, bringing Samsung device users more ways to enjoy music.
Following the official press notes, Spotify stated that Premium users with a Samsung Android smartphone can start music sessions during video calls over Google Meet. Whoever hosting the meeting as a host can tap on the three-dot available on the bottom left side of the display/screen.
A total of eight members can join with individual Spotify Premium accounts. The company calls feature Spotify Group Session. Wait! the feature expansion is not over yet, the company has also added Google Assistant support to the newly launched Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Watch 5 Pro.
Now you can easily use voice commands to control music playback alongside the volume adjustment. You are off to your next listening session with a simple Tap and Hold gesture on the buds. It doesn’t end here, the new Galaxy Buds 2 Pro can also work on the same stage for a better music experience.

If you are looking to purchase Samsung Smart TVs and Galaxy smartphones then the company will add the Spotify app pre-installed on your device. You will get three months of Spotify Premium for free.
