Ahead of Android 13, Android 12 running on 13.3 percent devices

Android 12 running devices percentage came out

Neoteric the Mountain View tech giant, Google published a new report via the Android distribution data chart. As per the latest report, Android 12 is running on 13.3% of devices.

Back in May, Google listed its Android platform/API version distribution in Android Studio, and on that particular report the listing of Android 12 missed out.  Now it’s good to see, ahead of the next Android 13 version, Android 12 finally made its place.

August 2022

In May, the chart confirmed 93.3%, and the rest to go 100% is predominantly Android 12 (but could also incorporate 12L and the 13 Beta).

Android API Level August 2022

As per the chart, the pie chart totals 99.8% and the remaining .2% could be Android 12L, which has its own API level (32).

May 2022

Google’s Android 11 goes down to 27% from 28.3% in May 2022. Somehow the version managed to include in several devices, followed by Android 10 at 22.3 percent. Android 9 Pie got a 14.5% mark.

As we know that Google won’t provide Android distribution information, but only displays data in Android Studio. The “Create New Project Wizard” provides diagrams for application developers to see which OS versions they should target to get the most users while balancing which features can be leveraged.
