South Korean smartphone maker Samsung exclusively used One UI as the Android skin. Considerably it is the third iteration of its original Android skin, TouchWiz. That skin eventually became Samsung Experience which itself evolved into One UI. Succeeding all, it is designed to make using larger smartphones easier and become more visually appealing.

Presently we are using One UI 4.1, a minor update of One UI 4, which was first released with the Samsung Galaxy S22 series. It doesn’t bring big changes.

On 25 February 2021, the company announced Teenage Engineering as a founding partner, mainly responsible for the brand’s design aesthetic and its products. Nothing’s first product “ear (1)” was launched on 27 July 2021.
