Samsung kicked off the August 2022 patch updates for the Galaxy S22, S21, and S20 series. Samsung’s trend is to continue and it keeps updating its users with the latest updates with this new security patch. Samsung has already shipped out the August 2022 Android security update to European/UK users.
The update is also coming to other devices in the company’s latest flagship series. After the patch update, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus added a new update that brings GMS – Google Play System update.
The latest Google Play System update for Galaxy S22+ brings the current security update and it is recommended to update it asap to keep safe and improve device stability. The current patch speculation is fixes of dozen of CVEs that were found in previous updates.

If you want your device is to up to date you all need to manually check to see if the update is available. The new update brings the Galaxy S22 to software version “S90xBXXU2AVG6,” while the S21 gets version “G99xBXXU5CVGB,” and the S20 receives version “G98xxXXUEFVG5.”
Meanwhile, Samsung’s event for new Galaxy foldable devices is approaching and the event is set for August 10, as per the event details, Samsung is offering $200 in credit for those reserving its latest devices.
