Qualcomm American multinational corporation has made a new announcement to expand its technology licensing agreements for the next seven years. This means we will see several new Samsung devices with the Snapdragon processor. Both the companies have agreed to extend the 3G, 4G, 5G, and 6G until the end of 2030.
According to the famous analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, in the transcript of Qualcomm’s third-quarter 2022 earnings call, Qualcomm said, “What I can say right now is that we were at 75% usage on the Galaxy S22 prior to the deal.
Ming-Chi Kuo said, “The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S23 may not use Samsung’s 4nm Exynos 2300 chip because it can’t compete with the SM8550 in every way. The SM8550 is optimized for TSMC’s design rules, so it’s more computationally and power efficient than the SM8450 (Snapdragon) Dragon 8 Gen 1) / SM8475 (Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1) has a clear advantage. Qualcomm / SM8550 will gain more market share in the high-end Android market in 2023. The economic recession will have less impact on the high-end market, so market share The growth of Qualcomm and TSMC will be a significant benefit.”
“And what I can say at this point is we were 75% on Galaxy S22 before the agreement. You should be thinking about we’re going to be much better than that on Galaxy S23 and beyond.”

As per the latest information, Qualcomm has previously announced that the 2022 Snapdragon Summit will be held for three days from November 15th to 17th. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip is expected to be launched.
Galaxy S23 Ultra:
Samsung’s upcoming flagship Galaxy S23 series is expected to land with Samsung’s new ISOCELL HP3 sensor. Furthermore, the 200MP camera sensor will only be available on the Galaxy S23 Ultra. Samsung will follow the same strategy as the last Galaxy S22 one i.e 10MP periscope camera and the device is said to consist of four great cameras.
