Samsung sold 30 million plus soundbars since 2008

Samsung has recently shipped 3nm process chips. As compared to the 5nm process, the first-generation 3nm process can reduce power consumption by up to 45%, second-generation 3nm process is to reduce power consumption by up to 50%.

Now coming back to the topic, Samsung has announced that it has sold over 30 million soundbars in its lifetime. To recall, the South Korean tech giant released its first soundbar in 2008, and it was the HT-X810 with a built-in DVD player.

Samsung has now become the world’s biggest soundbar brand for the ninth consecutive year. The company’s first soundbar was the first in the industry to connect wirelessly with the sub-woofer.

According to the information, the HW-Q990B, Samsung’s flagship soundbar for the year, received praise from technology publication T3. It is the world’s first soundbar with an 11.1.4-channel setup and wireless connection with a TV for Dolby Atmos.
