Steps to fix the Bluetooth connection problem of your smartphone or tablet.

Here are two troubleshooting steps you can take to see what’s causing the delay and reconnect your device in no time.

Step 1: If Bluetooth is enabled on your phone or tablet.

Open the quick settings panel to check for Bluetooth connection

Swipe down on your phone or tablet screen from the top of the display and check if the Bluetooth icon is turned on

Search and select the device you want to pair with:

Now steps to follow:

  1. Go to “Settings” and select “Connections”
  2. Check if Bluetooth is turned on and select the menu.
  3. Choose the devices you want to pair with on the list under “Available devices”.

Note:
Your Bluetooth device may not connect to your phone or tablet if it’s already connected to another device. If you’ve previously paired your Bluetooth device to another device that is in range, try disconnecting it from that device before pairing it with a new one.

Step 2: If Bluetooth is properly paired.

Now steps to follow:

  1. Check for your Bluetooth device’s connection.
  2. If it’s the first time pairing your devices, check to see if a pop-up appears on the screen(pairing mode).
  3. Ensure your Wearable app and Bluetooth device software are all up to date.

Pairing Bluetooth headphones with Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2

How to Pair Bluetooth headphones to your watch

You can easily connect the Bluetooth headphones and you can listen to music and have a phone conversation through it in the following steps.

Step 1.
 Navigate to Settings on your watch.
Step 2. Swipe to and tap Connections > Bluetooth.
Step 3. Turn on the switch for Bluetooth and check if the headphones are in pairing mode.
Step 4. Tap Bluetooth audio and select the desired Bluetooth headphones.

You can adjust Bluetooth audio using the Setting icon next to the Bluetooth headphones to:

You can also pair your Bluetooth headphones using the Quick panel on your watch.
Step 1. Swipe downwards from the top edge of the screen.
Step 2. Swipe the bezel or swipe to the left or right on the screen to move to the next or previous quick panel.
Step 3. Tap on the Headphones icon.
Step 4. The Bluetooth feature is activated and the available Bluetooth headphones list will be searched.

If the previously used Bluetooth is available, it will be connected automatically.

Note: 
Audio output for call conversation to Bluetooth headphones is only available with LTE watch models. If the switch for Call audio and Media audio is turned off, you will not hear any output to the Bluetooth headphones and they may disconnect from the watch. 

Checkpoints if another Bluetooth device cannot locate your Galaxy Watch

You can pair two Bluetooth devices at once and your headphones will intuitively switch between devices. However, for some reason, if another Bluetooth device cannot locate your Galaxy watch, check the tips listed below prior to contacting a Samsung Service Center.

Note:
The distance may vary depending on the environment in which the devices are used.

Other tips to improve Bluetooth connection on your watch

You may check the below checkpoints when a Bluetooth connection is not established or your Galaxy Watch Active2 and the mobile device are disconnected.

How to connect note S Pen device via Bluetooth

To take full advantage of your Galaxy Note device with the use of the remote control S Pen which comes with a range of up to 10m. The pen supplied with the Note phone is already connected to the device so there is no need to make a Bluetooth connection manually.
In case you want to connect another S Pen to your device, connect it via Bluetooth and enjoy its functionalities to their best.

Note: You can only connect Samsung-approved S Pens that support Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE).

Steps for Connecting another S Pen

Step 1. Insert the S Pen into the slot to start the connection.
Step 2. Open the notification panel by sliding down from the top of the device.
Step 3. Expand the options in the notification panel.
Step 4. Slide the notification panel to the left.
Step 5. Tap S Pen remote.
Step 6. Tap it again to reactivate it.

The S Pen icon on the status bar will flicker and might take a few minutes to connect.

Note:
Do not detach the S Pen from the device when it is being connected. Doing so will interrupt the process.
When the S Pen is connected, the S Pen icon on the status bar will disappear.
If it fails to connect or you want to use the previous S Pen, reconnect it following the previous steps.

Resetting the S Pen

There are two ways to reset the S Pen connection:
Step 1. Press and hold the S Pen remote icon.
Step 2. The S Pen remote settings screen will automatically open.
Step 3. Tap the More options icon.
Step 4. Tap Reset S Pen.

You can also access it through Settings:
Step 1. Open Settings.
Step 2. Tap Advanced features.
Step 3. Tap S Pen.
Step 4. Tap S Pen remote.
Step 5. Tap the “more options” icon.

Step to troubleshoot if Bluetooth headset audio is unstable

Using your headset you can utilize your at its best by which you can listen to music and enjoy your favourite track, and most important attend calls which you don’t want to miss. Again, it becomes very cumbersome when the connection is not stable, it may be due to a faulty connection between your device and headset, the surrounding environment or the Bluetooth cache.

Now in this guide, we will bring steps to recognise and resolve this problem. Also, before proceeding with the below steps, be sure that all devices’ software and related apps are updated to their latest version.

Step 1. Go to Settings > Software update.
Step 2. Tap on Download and install.
Step 3. Follow the on-screen instructions.

Now after the above steps, try to reboot both i.e. the device and Bluetooth headset, If the problem persists, follow the steps below:

Try re-pairing the device to the Bluetooth headset

If the connection is Unstable between your device and the headset it leads to an audio issue. Follow the guide below to disconnect and reconnect your headset.

Step 1. Open Settings and tap Connections.
Step 2. Tap Bluetooth.
Step 3. Turn on Bluetooth and tap Settings, located next to the connected Bluetooth headset.
Step 5. Tap Back.
Step 6. Turn on Bluetooth and enable pairing mode on the headset. When the headset appears under Available devices, tap and connects the headset to the device.

Adjust your environment

It is very important to take care of the factors which reduce the impact of instability between your smartphone and Bluetooth headset, so there are many more factors of unstable connection including the environment as well. Abrupt movement or distance between the devices may interfere with the connection. Other factors, like crowded areas or if you’re using a metallic protective cover near the antenna of your device. How to do pairing Galaxy S10 with BMW Mini car audio

As Samsung is aware the problem persists in limited BMW vehicles and it basically occurs when you connect it from the very first time, especially in the S10 series i.e. Galaxy S10+/S10/S10e side. For proper pairing, ensure that your Galaxy S10 is being searchable in BMW mini rather than Galaxy S10 pairing it first. And if this method is not working then follow the following steps:

Reset network settings in the following steps and try again.
Settings> General management > Reset > Reset network settings

Step 1. Select General Management in settings.
Step 2.  In General Management tap on Reset.
Step 3. Reset network setting.
Step 4. Click on Reset settings.

Exclamation mark in Galaxy Fit

An exclamation mark ( ! ) and it basically shows when a software update failed with Bluetooth connection between Galaxy Fit and smartphone.

Step to update Galaxy Fit device

Talking about Galaxy Fit then it can be directly updated to the latest software by the firmware over-the-air (FOTA) service through the Galaxy Wearable app. You may retry to update the software on your connected mobile phones with the help of the Galaxy Wearable application.

Step 1. Open the Galaxy Wearable app and reconnect your mobile phone through this app.
Step 2. To download and install band software on Galaxy Wearableapp, tap Home > Update band
             software > Download and install.
Step 3. Follow the on-screen instructions.
Step 4. The Galaxy Fit will be automatically restarted to complete the software update.

Procedure to control media and devices on a Galaxy smartphone

If you want to control the volume of your connected Bluetooth speaker or if you want to operate connected SmartThings devices directly from the quick panel then Simply you need to set up the Media and Devices Panel on your Galaxy phone or tablet to conveniently manage your connected devices.

Also, before proceeding with the below steps, be sure that all devices’ software and related apps are updated to their latest version. Kindly follow the below steps to update your mobile device’s software.

Step 1. Go to Settings Software update.
Step 2. Tap on Download and install.
Step 3. Follow the on-screen instructions.

Step to setup and use the media panel.

Once the media panel is ready to use, you can view current media that’s playing on the phone, such as songs from Spotify or Google play music. Inorder to check the same follow below steps:
Step 1. Swipe down from top of the screen to open the Quick panel.
Step 2. Tap Media under the Quick settings icons.
Step 3. Read on-screen instructions, and tap Done.

Set up and use the Device panel.

If the place for audio devices wasn’t enough, then there’s also a place for all of your other connected gadgets. The device panel basically provides a shortcut to all your smart devices that are connected to your SmartThings account or your phone.

Steps to follow to check the same:

Step 1. To open the Device panel, swipe down from the top of the screen to open the Quick panel.
Step 2. Tap Devices under the Quick settings icons.
Step 3. Read on-screen instructions, and tap Next.
Step 4. When you are finished, tap Done.

To set up the TV’s Spotify from your phone.

You can control Spotify on your TV using your phone with the Media panel, prior to this action ensure that your TV and phone are connected to the same network.

Steps to follow to do the same:
Step 1. Swipe down from the top of the screen to open the Quick panel.
Step 2. Tap the Smart View icon.
Step 3. Select your desired TV and then tap Start now on the phone.

If required then select Allow on the TV to give your phone permission to connect.  After this, your phone’s audio will now begin playing on the TV’s speakers.
