Samsung plans to sell $1 billion Galaxy M series phones

Samsung almost covered the mid and low-segment budget phone market in the Indian market. Many of users preferred the Galaxy M series as the cheapest smartphone. Since then, Samsung will release new Galaxy M-series phones to other markets around the world.

Samsung has officially launched the new Galaxy M13 and Galaxy M13 5G phones in the Indian market and now the South Korean tech firm has a plan to sell $1 billion worth of Galaxy M phones in India this year, a senior Samsung official said.

According to Aditya Babbar, senior director and head of product marketing at Samsung India, Samsung aims to sell $1 billion worth of Galaxy M phones by 2022. He said that the first half of this year was very strong, with sales up 20% year-on-year.

The official said that Since 2019, we’ve had 42 million M-Series consumers. We have very aggressive plans for this year. We’ve set a target of $1 billion in sales from M-Series this year. Recently, Samsung’s overall value market share in India in Q1 2022 has grown from 20% in the same period in 2021 to 22.6%.
