New Emojis of 2022-2023

As per the recent coming from Emojipedia of their sample images of 2022-2023 on Emojipedia Sample Images are shown to give the idea of how these emojis are going to look, These Emojis are created by Emojipedia’s Head of Emoji Design Joshua Jones.

As revealed by Emojipedia, sample designs include Shaking Face, two pushing hands, and a plain Pink Heart altogether with other emojis that are also on the draft list for approval this September.

Every year ahead of World Emoji Day, Emojipedia has created sample designs for each candidate emoji that going to be added. However, all the emojis shown in the draft list are not the final ones although it has been noticed historically that some might not make the cut, and almost all the designs presented for approval are always confirmed.

Some other inclusions on the Emoji 15.0 draft list along with Shaking Face and Pink Heart are Light Blue Heart, Grey Heart, Donkey, Jellyfish, Hair Pick, and a Khanda – the symbol of the Sikh faith. And this is the eighth year of bringing sample emoji designs publicly before their official arrival on emoji keyboards.

Although these are not the final list, therefore actual vendor designs may vary from those released by major vendors as well as Emojipedia’s own sample images probably also be updated in the final release of Emoji 15.0, as these draft emoji designs are subject to change prior to the approval in September 2022.

It has been noticed in the past several years that the majority of samples are getting approved and have a place in the final list including every emoji we previewed from last year’s Emoji 14.0 draft list ahead of World Emoji Day 2021.

Also as part of the 2022 World Emoji Awards, anybody can vote for your favourite in the Most Anticipated Emoji category. Although this is not part of the approval process and is just a fun way to analyse which draft emoji people are keen to use. So keep voting, and the winner of this award will be revealed ahead of World Emoji Day.
