The South Korean giant has a history of rolling out timely security updates for its smartphones and tablets. The company recently rolled out June 2022 update for its several Galaxy devices smartphone and now another Galaxy A-series smartphone of the company has started receiving April 2022 update.

Samsung has started rolling out the April 2022 update (154MB Size) for its Galaxy A22 smartphone users in the Indian market. The update comes with firmware version A225FXXU3BVF1. The company claims that the update will fix 88 security issues.

Other than the security patch, the update also improves the overall stability of the functions. If you own this device, you can manually check for the latest updates, go to your device’s Settings, tap on the Software update, and finally hit the Download and install button.

Back in June, Samsung launched the Galaxy A22 with 4G connectivity and includes an AMOLED display, quad-camera setup, OIS compared to the TFT display, and triple cameras of the Galaxy A22 5G. Pre-equipped with Android 11-based One UI 3.1, the Galaxy A22 is eligible to receive two major Android OS upgrades.
