Samsung Galaxy XCover 6 Pro details cleared on FCC

According to the latest listing on an FCC website, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy XCover 6 Pro was reportedly named the Galaxy XCover Pro 2. Previously, the Google play console also tipped the same information regarding the name.

Now, talking about the XCover Pro 2 FCC certification site. The certification has cleared the model number of the device. It has been listed on the FCC with SM-G736U and SM-G736U1 model numbers, the same as the one spotted on the Google Play Console listing.

Some tipsters also claimed that it will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G 5G chipset that’s paired with 6GB of RAM. The handset is also going to feature a 2408×1080 pixel resolution display. There will be a 6.5 inches display.

The certification confirms that the XCover 6 Pro will come with dual SIM support and 128GB of internal storage. There is also a diagram on the FCC database. The FCC site also reveals that the XCover 6 Pro will come with 25W fast charging.

Apart from the FCC website news, the South Korean giant ranked fourth in Q1 2022, reported Counterpoint Research, Samsung had a revenue share of just 7% in Q1 2022 in the global smartphone chipset market. Qualcomm was the number one brand, with a revenue share of a whopping 44%. Apple’s revenue share was 26% during the quarter, while MediaTek’s revenue share was around 19%.
