Snapdragon powered Galaxy S10 Lite getting May 2022 software update

Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite powered by a Snapdragon chip globally is now getting the May 2022 security update. The Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+, and Galaxy S10 5G have already received a similar update, and the Galaxy S10 Lite is now joining the party.

The latest update is rolling out with the firmware version G770FXXS6GVE2 in Spain, and it should make its way to other markets soon.

For your information, the Galaxy S10 Lite is eligible for the Android 13 and we belive it will happen soon. In fact, it will be the only Galaxy S10 smartphone that will get Android 13 (and One UI 5.0). The other Galaxy S10 models launched running Android Pie.

The Galaxy S10 Lite is powered by a Snapdragon 855 SoC and while the official launch iIt features One UI 2.0, which is based on Android 10.

The phone has a 4,500mAh battery capacity, which offers enough power to get you through an entire day on one charge. The bundled charger supports 25W fast charging.

As far as the cameras are concerned, on the rear side it has a 48-megapixel, 5-megapixel macro camera also captures very good extreme close-ups. 4K video recording is supported but only up to 30fps.
