Samsung Galaxy S20 LTE series grabbing May 2022 security patch

Samsung has started rolling out the May 2022 security patch update for the Galaxy S20 and S20+ LTE models. The Galaxy S20 (SM-G980F) latest May 2022 patch update is available in Switzerland. The Galaxy S20+ model (SM-G985F) May 2022 security patch is live in almost a dozen markets, including Greece, the Czech Republic, Switzerland, Portugal, Austria, Nordic countries, Baltic countries, Luxembourg, Slovakia, and the Netherlands.

The new software update is rolling out with the build number G98xFXXUEFVDB. The May 2022 security patch got detailed at the beginning of the month. As always, the update can be downloaded on the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S20+ via the update notification when it arrives or from the “Software update” menu inside the “Settings” app on your phone.

As per the specifications, the phone is powered by an Exynos 990 SoC and has 12GB of RAM and 128GB of storage onboard. The Galaxy S20 Ultra launched in India supports 4G networks only. It packs in a 5,000mAh battery and has support for 45W fast charging. Samsung ships a 25W charger in the box which is quick to charge the device. The Galaxy S20 Ultra offers good battery life and lasted us for about a day and a half easily. Performance is good as well but the device does get warm under load.
