Samsung, a South Korean company is a well-known company for building the largest producers of electronic devices. Samsung specializes in the production of a wide variety of consumer and industry electronics, including appliances, digital media devices, semiconductors, memory chips, and integrated systems. The company also focuses on the regular security patch as well as the One UI latest versions.
Now, according to the latest information, Samsung with its latest Galaxy A series, it’s all about thinking about bringing flagship features to a broader audience at lower prices. The name suggested is Galaxy A73 5G, which went official recently alongside the Galaxy A33 5G and A53 5G, which is the 108MP camera.
The company is said to bring a new smartphone with the 108MP camera which might be another mid-range phone. And the phone which will feature these changes is the Galaxy M53 5G will reportedly be that phone, bringing a massive jump in the megapixel count for the main camera compared to last year’s Galaxy M52 5G.
Talking about the rear side, Samsung’s upcoming phone will follow the same structure as the previous one i.e. four rear cameras instead of three, although the ultra-wide and macro cameras might see a downgrade in resolution.
The M52 5G’s Snapdragon 778G processor is going to be replaced by the MediaTek Dimensity 900 on the M53. And while the Dimensity 900 is a solid chip in itself, the Snapdragon 778G is notably faster in both CPU and GPU performance.
For now, we don’t have much information, but if believe in the trending news we can expect some features of the M52 5G to carry forward as is, such as the 120Hz Super AMOLED display, 5,000 mAh battery with 25W charging, and a 32MP front-facing camera.
On the software front, it should come running Android 12 with One UI 4.1, but whether or not it will qualify for four years of OS upgrades and five years of security updates like the Galaxy A53 or A73 remains to be seen.
If we talk about Samsung’s previous history, Samsung entered the phone market with the SPH-1300, an early touch-screen prototype released in 2001. The company also developed the first speech-recognition phone in 2005.
In the late 2000s and early 2010s, Samsung acquired companies that developed technologies for electronic devices. In 2011, Samsung released the Galaxy S II, followed in 2012 by the Galaxy S III, one of the world’s most popular smartphones. The year 2012 also marked Samsung becoming the world’s largest mobile phone maker and the acquisition of mSpot to provide entertainment to Samsung device users.
